Cann Memorial Presbyterian Church in Elizabeth City and First Presbyterian Church in Edenton, in 2024, laid the foundation as a yoked ministry. We are seeking enthusiastic leadership to continue to strengthen, nurture and guide our congregations along with our sessions. Our desire would be for a minister with a vision for our yoked ministry which needs not only to survive but thrive. The candidate would preach two Sundays in Elizabeth City and two Sundays in Edenton. The 5th Sunday would be determined by the Worship Committee. The video Sunday’s scripture and sermon would be recorded midweek and viewed on our newly installed equipment. The rest of the Service would be conducted by lay readers. Office hours are shared with visitation, counseling, etc. as needed.

Just down the road, Edenton stands as a picturesque gem, its stately homes and white steeple churches reflecting the grace of a town deeply rooted in tradition. In both communities, faith weaves through daily life, and in the heart of each historic downtown, two churches stand as beacons of worship, service, and enduring community spirit.

North Raleigh Presbyterian Church in Raleigh, NC is seeking a part-time (15–20 hrs/week, $20-25 per hour) Director of Family Ministry to support the faith formation of families with children from birth through high school. Responsibilities include leading children’s and youth ministries, supporting worship, coordinating volunteers, planning family-focused events, and overseeing programs like Vacation Bible School. The ideal candidate is a person of deep Christian faith with experience in church education, strong communication skills, and a collaborative spirit.
