The Church Development & Evangelism Committee of New Hope Presbytery recognizes that Christian discipleship and mission occur in the local church. With the Holy Spirit’s guidance, the local church witnesses to the good news of Jesus Christ by growing in grace and embodying their faith by loving and serving God and neighbor. To these ends, the Committee has established Small Church grants—moneys to help launch initiatives of outreach into new areas of ministry for deep and greater witness.
Each Small Church Grant Recipient will be awarded a minimum of $500.00 and a maximum of $2,500.00 in a year.
Only one grant will be awarded per recipient per year.
Grants may be renewed for the same project up to two additional years with a maximum of $5,000.00 over the life of the grant.
Renewal will require submitting the renewal form.
Upon completing a grant, a congregation may apply for a new grant for a different project.
The new project will require a new application.
If the grant application is approved, all grant applications will be subject to the availability of grant funds.
