Elder Commissioners

Childcare
Childcare is provided at all in-person presbytery gatherings. You may request childcare when you register to attend online. Families are asked to please prepare a lunch for their child. Contact the host church directly if your child has allergies and provide an appropriate snack on the day of the gathering.
Lunch Information
Lunch is being provided by A Place at the Table. A Place at the Table was started in 2015 with a mission to provide community and good food to all, regardless of means. Maggie Kane, founder and executive director (and an alumni of Presbyterian Campus Ministry Raleigh!), grew up volunteering at soup kitchens. She went because her mother wanted her to know what it’s like to serve others. After 20+ years of volunteering, Maggie found that soup kitchens are so different from her own life experience. In 2018, Maggie opened A Place at the Table Cafe in downtown Raleigh as Raleigh’s first pay-what-you-can café. The best part is that when you walk in, it looks like a regular restaurant, you wouldn’t know it is a nonprofit. And it’s working!

Turkey, gouda cheese, arugula, onion jam, mayo, pressed hot on sourdough bread.
OPTION #2 [vegetarian]
Black Bean Melt with side of fruit
12 Latin-style black beans, sliced avocado, goat cheese, and honey lime drizzle pressed hot on naan bread.
