Congregations are invited to begin preparing for the World Communion Offering, with the Season of Preparation beginning September 6 and the offering received on World Communion Sunday, October 4.
Resources for this year’s World Communion Offering are now available for download on the PC(USA) website, and free printed materials may be ordered through the PC(USA) Store.
A new World Communion Offering Grant will also be available for councils of the church (sessions, presbyteries, and synods) engaged in ministries of racial justice, gender justice, peacemaking, global witness, or ecumenical/interfaith relations. Receiving the World Communion Offering is not required to apply.
Grant Timeline
- Applications Open: September 7, 2026
- Applications Close: January 15, 2027
- Award Notifications :March 2027
Grants of $500–$1,000 will be awarded through the PC(USA) grant management system. Applications take approximately 15 minutes to complete with the required documentation, and recipients will have 12 months to use the awarded funds.
