Join your colleagues at The Trinity Center ( https://www.trinityctr.org/ ) in Salter Path for two days of worship, fellowship, rest, and keynote presentations.\nConference Leadership\nRev. Rodney S. Sadler, Jr., PhD.\n\nThe speaker for this year’s retreat is Rev. Rodney S. Sadler, Jr., PhD., the Associate Professor of Bible and Director of the Center for Social Justice and Reconciliation at Union Presbyterian Seminary in Charlotte, NC. He is a graduate of Howard University (1989, B.S. Psychology/Philosophy), Howard University School of Divinity (1992, M.Div.), and Duke University (2001, Ph.D. Hebrew Bible and Biblical Archaeology), and has also studied at Hebrew University (1990). Esther serves as the Designated Associate Pastor at First Presbyterian Church in Durham. Esther is a graduate of Duke Divinity School (M. Div., May 2022) and holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Women’s & Gender Studies and Journalism from the University of Mary Washington (May 2018). She desires to create spaces of liberation and inclusion for all. In recent years, Esther has served as a hospital chaplain, pastoral intern, Interim pastor for Duke Presbyterian Campus Ministry, and as Pastoral Assistant for her home church, Trinity Avenue Presbyterian Church, Durham.
