Presbyterians place a high value on leaders and their place in the church. The Presbytery finds that its own health and well being is closely tied to that of its various leaders. The whole person must be cared for, and special attention must be paid to varying persons and situations. The presbytery, through the Division of Leadership Development, seeks to be the pastor of its own leadership. The division includes several committees mandated by the Book of Order as well as the ongoing care and development of church leaders through division sponsored professional development and continuing education opportunities.
