Cokesbury Christian Bookstore in Raleigh is seeking an enthusiastic, service-oriented individual with strong communication and customer service skills for the position of Store Customer Service Supervisor. Excellent working environment. Some Saturday work required. Major Duties: Provides supervision and leadership to local Christian bookstore staff pertaining to daily store operations including inventory management, point-of-sales, store merchandising, customer service and staff training. Assists store management in scheduling staff. Performs store operation tasks including cash register reconciliation, daily cash report, and customer orders. Develops and enhances customer relationships in the store with face-to-face and telephone communication with church leaders and store customers. Coordinates in-store consignments and resources for outside events and displays. Participates in out-bound calling campaigns in order to serve customers and enhance sales. Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent, and at least three (3) years of retail experience in customer service supervision. Previous experience with Christian Education resources, general Christian resources and/or Cokesbury product offerings is preferred. An associate’s degree in Business Management, Business Administration, Christian Education, or closely related field is preferred.
